These war regulations are intended to help facilitate more 'civilized' wars and reduce catastrophic fallouts traditionally found in Anarchy servers. These are rules, they separate us from the animals.

War Regulations

  • War declarations/peace treaties go in ⁠war-declarations-peace-treaties

  • All wars must be given a reason/motive

  • Griefing is allowed during the war against a warring nation

    • Any griefing must serve a reasonable purpose (common sense)

    • At least 1 member of the said nation must be online during the griefing

    • If you lose the war, all damages must be repaired/compensated

    • You cannot grief if an agreement is made to not grief (admins cannot enforce this)

      • (All details depend on the decision leader makes)

      • If transgressed, the act will be considered a war crime

  • Stealing is allowed during the war against warring nation

    • At least 1 member of the said nation must be online for at least 1 second during the stealing

  • You can attack only AFTER the war is officially written in history (⁠history)

  • Conquered nations will have their citizens automatically join the winning nation

    • The winning nation determines the fates of the losing nation's citizens

  • A nation capitulates if both criteria are met:

    • The nation's leader dies 3 times

    • All of the nation's control flags are broken

  • Lives System:

    • Combatants are removed from conflict if they are vigor-banned and then die again

      • Once a combatant is vigor-banned, they will be on their last life

    • Leaders only have 3 lives

    • The result is decided by server admins and voted on by the community

  • Control Flags System:

    • Control Flags can be broken into, even if there's no one online to defend them.

    • Specifications:

      • All countries must have at least one Control Flag and cannot have more than 1 vault.

      • Control Flags can only be placed in populated cities and vaults in claimed territories.

      • Control Flags in cities must be identifiable and can only be up to 64 x 64 in size.

        • Identifiable = a sign stating the location of the control flag within the control flag area AND declares the control flag size (Example: CF at 200 X, 160 Z Size: 48x48)

      • Control Flags in vaults must be located above the surface and cannot overlap city control flags. Vault Control Flags can be as large as 48 x 48 in size.

    • Control Flags are points that can be controlled by enemy combatants (invaders) and are destroyed and replaced with a Control Flag of their own.

      • Areas under enemy control can freely take items within the identified radius.

      • If an armistice is reached, whoever controls the Control Flags legally owns that land area.

  • If no progress results after 3 days, the war concludes

  • The number of territories that u can obtain through war is unlimited

  • The defender is only allowed to retreat 3 countries away that are unclaimed

    • Countries must be neighboring and not separated by large bodies of water

    • If retreating into the ocean, the chase cannot exceed 250 blocks from the defending nation's borders

    • Fighting cannot occur in foreign claimed territories (countries not involved in the conflict)

  • War demands can be only made by the Leaders or Co-leaders of a country War demands include:

    • Getting certain territories and the current inventories of the battle combatants (not of inactive players or non-combatants)

  • Players with administrative privileges are not allowed to use commands that provide unfair advantages during wars

  • Countries can declare war on multiple countries

  • End crystals for the use of warfare are banned from usage

    • This is admin-enforced and punishable

  • If a country is declaring war on another country for control of the End Rift, the said country cannot claim the country or its people as its own (if they win)
